Double show from Rambert is just a delight

You will probably never view garden leafblowers in the same way either, but they come later in B.R.I.S.A., the second performance in Kismet, Rambert's double bill of dance.

Kismet, meaning destiny, is loosely the theme of both.

There's nowhere that personifies destiny quite like an airport, in which choreographer Emma Evelein has set her imaginative Gallery of Consequence.

Travellers rush back and forth, trundling cases, and arguing at check-in desks, as a cacophony of music rises to a crescendo in the first sequence.

As chaos mounts, the departures board, filled with the endless possibilities of destinations, morphs from lists of times and places into human-shaped jumbles of numbers and letters.
