Consultation begins to shape market's future

BRISTOL City Council has launched a consultation on the future of St Nicholas Market five months after a controversial plan to increase trader rents was paused.

The “Ready Steady...Play!” initiative will feature quickfire interactions and half-hour adventures designed to shape a “shared vision” for the historic site.
Andrew Brown, chair of the economy and skills committee, said: “The market is a key business, tourism, cultural and heritage destination for both residents and visitors.
