FIRSTLY can I wish you a very Happy New Year.

I hope that 2026 will be a good one for you all in terms of your physical and mental wellbeing.

Ihave two events to draw to your attention.

Firstly, some of you might be involved in the forthcoming Community Day to take place in the Cathedral on Saturday, January 17, from 10am to 4pm and the aim is to promote the numerous voluntary organisations which exist in our great city.

‘Two of our regular litter pickers, Michael Hauser and Roberto Vogel are hosting a litter picking stall with the aim of promoting what we do and what is needed in terms of caring for the environment with our litter picking activity.

Michael and Roberto will be there all day but would welcome any of you to come along and help support the stall and the activities they have devised to drill home the message.
