THE Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP) has officially been named the content partner for Bellville in the City of Cape Town’s renowned Content Partnership Programme for 2025, a move that promises to put the spotlight on this dynamic suburb.

GTP to showcase Bellville in Cape Town's marketing programme

The contract was signed at a ceremony held on Thursday, April 10, signalling an exciting new chapter for promoting Bellville on both local and global stages.

This initiative, powered by the City’s Destination Marketing Unit, positions GTP as the strategic promoter of Bellville. The organisation will be responsible for capturing the essence of the area, showcasing its vibrant community, distinct attractions, and rich possibilities to audiences worldwide.

Now in its second year, the City Cape Town's Content Partnership Programme is revolutionising destination marketing by leveraging a network of trusted partners. Unlike traditional marketing methods that rely heavily on centrally produced campaigns, this programme empowers local institutions and attractions — such as Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, and the Two Oceans Aquarium — to share authentic, homegrown stories. These narratives are then amplified through highly targeted digital campaigns aimed at international markets.
