Work to fix collapsed Thames path under way

A collapsed section of the Thames Path in South West London is set to re-open later this summer.

Richmond Council said it is progressing works to repair the popular walking route, between Richmond Lock and Kew Gardens, “as quickly as possible”.
The council previously said the collapse of the towpath on October 19 was likely caused by high winds and river levels, although it was still investigating the incident.
