As a resident of a Cleveland suburb, I disagree with Kelly Dirkman's letter ("A Cheap Midwest Is a Homeownership Myth," Jan. 21) on the affordability advantages of living in the Midwest. I previously lived in the D.C. area and the East Bay of San Francisco.
