Restaurant boss shocks with his brutal response to online reviews

Mumbai Kitchen, in Bampton Street, has attracted widespread attention following Maruf Ahmed's replies to a handful of one-star Google reviews posted over a year criticising the restaurant for poor service and food quality.

One reviewer claimed the food was “smelly” and that they “had no dinner that night,” while another described the management as rude and vowed never to return.

In response, the Mumbai Kitchen account posted replies accusing reviewers of faking their experiences and one reply read: “Stop giving me a fake review, or you will die in a car crash.”

Despite the inflammatory language, a wave of residents have since rallied to defend the restaurant, praising its food, service and long-standing presence in the town.
