Dancing shoes at the ready for popular music and ale festival

The popular event is the heart of summer but also the key to lighting up the village at Christmas, as it is also a fundraising for the festive entertainment.

It takes place at Magelake on July 4 and 5 with 18 real ales and 13 ciders and an array of live music acts.

There will also be food stalls and plenty of family entertainment including bouncy castles, face painting and more.

It's a date in the calendar that is always enjoyed by many and this year’s offering promises not to disappoint.

The organisers say the Friday night line-up is one of the strongest yet: “A brilliant evening of live music to launch the weekend in style”.

Kicking off at 6.30pm in the beer hall, Trev the Pianoman brings his one-of-a-kind pub singalong energy, with thousands of classics committed to memory and delivered with charm and flair.
