Relatives of missing Jay 'cling to hope like McCann family does'
THE uncle of missing Jay Slater yesterday vowed the family will never give up on him as they launched a fresh search.
Glen Duncan joined the 19-year-old's dad Warren, brother Zak and 10 volunteers to scour the mountainous region in Tenerife where Jay vanished.
He said waiting for news was "torture" for the family and likened their feelings to those of Gerry and Kate McCann, whose daughter Madeleine, three, went missing in Portugal in May 2007.
