Cottagers collapse leaves Euro hopes hanging by thread

EUROPEAN qualification has become an unhealthy obsession for Fulham.

So much so they may now struggle to finish inside the top half.

It will sting twice as much for Marco Silva knowing his former employers Everton were the side to bang another nail in the Cottagers' top-eight coffin.

The Toffees had won just one of their past 10 matches.

But this scintillating away display points towards an exciting future under David Moyes as goals from Vitalii Mykolenko, Michael Keane and Beto inflicted the damage at Craven Cottage. Fulham would have shattered two club records with victory - their highest Premier League points tally and most wins in a single top-flight season.
