Clubs use artificial intelligence to buy players...and sell on for a massive profit, Winger bought by Brighton for £16m in 2024 cost Danes £250k in 2023

BRIGHTON invested £16million signing Ibrahim Osman from Danish club Nordsjaelland last year - but just 12 months earlier the Ghanaian winger would have cost around £250,000.

Osman, who is spending the season on loan at Feyenoord, is the perfect illustration of how a new video analysis and Al scouting tool called Eyeball is revolutionising the art of youth development.

Eyeball enables clubs to embark on a deep dive into young players who are emerging from leagues that would not usually be covered through traditional scouting.

Osman was just another hopeful being put through his paces in his homeland at the Right to Dream Academy when Nordsjaelland identified him as a potential star.
