Pride of Britain winners like Florrie inspire host Ashley... & his daughter

PRIDE of Britain host Ashley Banjo and his daughter Rose have been completely won over by Florrie Bark's infectious giggle and charm.

Ashley's six-year-old was so inspired by last year's Child of Courage award winner Florrie that she wrote to her.

Diversity dance troupe leader Ashley, 37, said: “The letter said ‘to Florrie, love you’ with a picture of a giraffe and a tree shed drawn. I think it was her way of saying T’ve got your back, Florrie”.

Ashley and Carol Vorderman, 64, are preparing to host The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, with P&O Cruises, which will air on ITV on October 23.
