Foot pain caused Raj Gil to put on weight — but chatting to a Boots pharmacist changed everything

"'m a social person and have always been very active," says Raj Gil, 51, from Glasgow. But when she began getting pains in her feet, she became sedentary and gradually piled on the pounds.

"My feet often felt stiff and achy," she says. "It's so silly, but I did nothing about it, even though the discomfort was stopping me keeping active."

Like most problems, ignoring the situation didn't help.
