Charity gig caps a thoughtful week...

It's been a bit of a thoughtful week, as not only will I be retiring from NatWest in a few weeks after 44 years, but it was 11 years since I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, with a life expectancy then of maybe just two years.

I will leave my work story for another week, but I wanted to find a way of both having a retirement bash and fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK. So, with the help of my two mates Geoff and Mark, we organised a “Men United" gig night in London where people had to donate to come to my leaving do instead of putting anything in a collection. That would mean more to me.
