CANARY WALK: Nunez Manning mind not on Nunez

LIAM MANNING has told his Norwich City players to forget all about former Carrow Road favourite Marcelino Nunez as they prepare to go into battle against their former teammate in the East Anglia derby.

Nunez, 25, swapped Norfolk for Suffolk in order to join Norwich’s bitter rivals Ipswich in a £10million deal this summer and will come face to face with his old side for the first time in today's big derby showdown.

Ipswich have made the former Canaries midfielder the cover star of their programme to stoke the flames ahead of the game.

But Manning insists his side do not need any added motivation ahead of their trip to Portman Road.
