Scott Morrison, while delivering his keynote address at the NXT 2026 Summit organised by ITV Network, said that the Middle East is witnessing intense turmoil as the United States and Israel continue sustained strikes against Iran and its proxy groups. The conflict, he noted, has disrupted key shipping routes, pushing global oil and gas prices sharply higher, unsettling economies, threatening food production, and worsening already rising living costs and inflationary pressures worldwide.
