Iran to supply missile launchers to Russia

Iran is poised to deliver launchers for short-range ballistic missiles it previously sent to Russia, according to two Western security officials and one regional source, further intensifying concerns over the strengthening alliance between Moscow and Tehran.
The delivery, reportedly imminent, would bolster Russia's capabilities in its protracted war against Ukraine.
The launchers are designed for the Iranian-made Fath-360 missile system, which has a range of approximately 75 miles (120 kilometers).
If deployed, these weapons could significantly enhance Russia's ability to target Ukrainian front-line positions, military facilities, and border-adjacent civilian areas with speed and efficiency, analysts said.
The Fath-360 missiles were transferred to Russia last year via nine Russian-flagged ships, according to the U.S. government, which sanctioned those vessels.
