DELHI LEADS INDIA IN EV ADOPTION

NEW DELHI The adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in India is surging, with Delhi emerging as the leader in EV penetration, according to a report by FICCI and Yes Bank.
The report highlighted that Delhi has achieved an EV penetration rate of 11.5 per cent, driven by its adoption across multiple segments.
Kerala follows closely at 11.1 per cent, and Assam at 10.0 per cent, where the adoption of electric twowheelers (e2Ws) and threewheelers (e3Ws) has been significant.
