BJP PLANS RESHUFFLE POST MAHA, JHARKHAND POLLS

A significant change is expected within the NDA government and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organisation following the elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.

According to sources, the announcement of the new president's name is expected immediately after these elections, with the completion of organizational election formalities.

Prime Minister Modi may also reorganize his team, possibly introducing new faces. Some current ministers might transition from government roles to organizational positions, and there is speculation that chief ministers in one or two states could be replaced.

The performance of Chief Ministers is currently under review. In a July meeting with BJP Chief Ministers, Prime Minister Modi issued strict instructions, especially after the party won fewer than expected seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Although these were only directives at that time, action may now follow.
