Tuas mega port hits milestone of handling 10m containers since opening

The Tuas mega port has cumulatively handled 10 million shipping containers, or twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), since the start of operations in September 2022, PSA Singapore said on Feb 24.
This achievement highlights Tuas Port's strategic significance in Singapore's supply chain and logistics industry.
It also showcases the port's operational efficiency, technology and infrastructure, and is the result of collaborative efforts between PSA's customers, partners and workforce, the port operator said.
Tuas Port is being developed in four phases and will be the world's largest fully automated port when completed in the 2040s.
