Temasek-backed robot maker reportedly files for HK IPO

Chinese surgical robot firm Edge Medical, backed by Singapore's investment company Temasek, has filed confidentially for a Hong Kong initial public offering (IPO), according to people familiar with the matter.

The Shenzhen-headquartered company is looking to raise about US$150 million (S$193.4 million) to US$200 million as soon as this year, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is not public.
GF Securities and Morgan Stanley are working on the IPO, they added.
Details of the offering, such as size and timing, are preliminary and may change, the people said.
