SCDF officer accused of sex offences involving at least one underage girl

A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officer has been charged with 10 counts of sexually penetrating a minor and one count of being in possession of obscene films.
The 33-year-old man, who cannot be named due to a gag order to protect the identities of the girl or girls, is accused of committing the offences between December 2023 and June 2024.
The Straits Times cannot ascertain the exact number of alleged victims involved as such information has been redacted from court documents.
He is accused of starting his crime spree on Dec 20, 2023, when he allegedly sexually penetrated a 15-year-old girl.
