Over $1.45m raised to help vulnerable people find meaningful jobs

More than $1.45 million has been raised through the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Foundation’s flagship EmployWell initiative, with the sum going towards helping vulnerable people find meaningful employment.
The funds were contributed by 22 corporate donors, said SBF after more than 1,000 people took part in the first EmployWell - Walk for Work 2025 event on the morning of Nov 9 in Marina Bay.
Business leaders and employees from more than 40 companies took part in the walk, which aims to promote inclusive hiring and employment reintegration.
Companies including Micron Semiconductor, SBS Transit and Stahl Asia Pacific each mobilised more than 100 employees for the 4km walk, which was flagged off by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
