RACE 1(1,200M)

(@) MADRA RUA ran well on debut. He can improve, albeit first-up from a break. Top chance.

(7) RED WAVE stayed on well for third last time. On his best form, he will go close to winning.

(1) BONELLI ran a fair race on debut. If he does not need the run badly after a long break, he could be competitive at a decent price.

(9) CAESAR’S RANSOM was green on debut. The blinkers have been fitted. He could sneak into the quartet first-up.

RACE 2 (1,200M)

(2) VROOM VROOM and (i) GIMMEANOTHERVIKING are both well-bred. They can win on debut, so watch the market closely.

(7) TRIPLEBELL was beaten just over six lengths last time. If she can improve, she could finish in the money.

(4) REFLECT was green on debut last time. Watch her closely.

RACE 3 (1,200M)

(7) INNERBLOOM had no luck on debut last time when she was drawn wide and was a long way back when they turned for home, but she still did some good work late. She could be competitive at a decent price.

(5) FANTINE was very green on debut last time. She will love the straight track at Kenilworth, so include her in all bets.

(0) WINTER IN AUCKLAND finished just over seven lengths behind the winner last time. She could sneak into the places first-up.

(@) LITTLE NIMBUS has run two fair races in succession. She is well-bred and could get into the quartet.

RACE 4 (1,200M)

@ OBJET D’ART stayed on well for third last time and the form of that race has worked out well. Hard to beat in this Open Maiden.

(6) FORT YUKON ran a lovely race on debut when he was only beaten just over four lengths. Even though he wants further, he should be competitive.

He could easily bounce back to his best form.
