Well, if you drive in Formula One, there are several things. Number one, after you biffed your teammate during a fight last time out and immobilised your car with front-end damage, you put your hand straight up and say sorry.

But if you've already fallen 22 points behind your McLaren teammate, a baby-faced but tough-as-nails Australian they call the "Silent Assassin", that isn't enough to quieten the naysayers and get them off your back.

But you can go to a fresh venue, in this case the Red Bull Ring in Austria's Spielberg, and show them you're still tough by driving fast. You have to miss the Friday morning practice because rookie Alex Dunne is driving your car and doing a great job, setting tongues flapping and eyebrows waggling.

But when you get your car back for the second session that afternoon, you can go fastest, beating said teammate.

Then you can do it again in Saturday's final free practice session, But that still doesn't appease some, who say that all that really matters prior to a race is qualifying, which is split into three separate sessions.
