Two Build-To-Order (BTO) projects in the upcoming Bayshore housing estate near East Coast Park will offer a combined 2,500 flats in the next sales exercise in October.

Another project in Tengah, and more developments in the new housing estates of Sembawang North and Chencharu in Yishun, will also go on sale.

These are among seven projects that will be on offer.

On June 17, the Housing Board published details of 7,970 flats in Bedok, Geylang, Sembawang, Tengah, Toa Payoh and Yishun that will be launched in October.

In Bedok town, a large supply of two-room flexi flats for seniors and singles will be available across the two BTO projects in Bayshore.

Nearly half of the planned 2,500 units — or 1,240 flats - will fall into this category. The remainder are 1,170 four-room flats and 90 three-room units.

Both projects are located along Bayshore Drive and near Bayshore MRT station.

The larger, 1,640-unit project will have two-room flexi, three- and four-room flats. The site will also house amenities such as an eating house, shops, pre-schools, an active ageing centre and a kidney dialysis centre.

The other project comprises 860 units of two-room flexi and four-room flats alongside a minimart, shops and a pre-school.

Property analysts said the projects would likely fall under the Plus category, similar to previous projects in the estate, and are expected to be highly sought after.

Plus and Prime flats, which are closer to the city centre, transport nodes and amenities, come with stricter resale conditions, such as a 10-year minimum occupation period and a subsidy clawback, unlike Standard flats.

Christine Sun, chief researcher and strategist at property firm Realion (OrangeTee & ETC) Group, said she expects strong demand from singles for the two Bayshore projects.
