Award-winning Dupont experimenting with position change

French rugby's poster boy Antoine Dupont said on Sept 23 that he was "curious" about moving from scrum-half to centre, having had talks with Toulouse coach Ugo Mola.

The Olympic sevens gold medal-list has mainly featured throughout his illustrious 10-year career in the No. 9 shirt, while he had also played as fly-half.
"It's a discussion we had a while ago," Dupont told reporters after being named Top 14 Player of the Year. "I'm curious in life and on the field.
"Every training session I try and move my position from nine and find some further freedom on the pitch. I don't think we're quite there to do it in a match yet though." One thing for sure, though, he has always been a vital player for club and country.
Dupont starred as France claimed Olympic success in July in front of their home fans, just months after switching from the 15-a-side game.
