In the port city of Ulsan, an impressive collection of prehistoric stone carvings called the Petroglyphs of Bangudae Terrace is etched into the cliff face along Bangucheon Stream.

Ulsan Petroglyph Museum features impressively detailed scaled replicas and explanations of the petroglyphs found in Bangudae and another nearby site, Cheonjeon-ri. There are plenty of information boards and videos with English translations, as well as a children's section with interactive exhibits.
