GDP to decelerate in 2025, RBI to cut rates soon: Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs said that riding over continued fiscal consolidation and slower credit growth, India's GDP growth to "decelerate" to 6.3 per cent in 2025.

It forecasts India's headline inflation at 4.2 per cent (average) in 2025 with food inflation at 4.6 per cent.
In its latest report titled 'India 2025 outlook: Standing firm in an uncertain world', Goldman Sachs said, "Food supply shocks due to weather-related disruptions remain the key risk to this view."
