BJP MP writes to Lok Sabha Speaker, makes ‘cash for query'allegations against TMC's Mahua Moitra

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla making "cash for query" allegations against Trinamul Congress MP Mahua Moitra and demanding an inquiry committee against her.

Ms Moitra, in a scathing response, said she would welcome any action against her once the pending breach of privilege against ruling party members are dealt with.
Mr Dubey, in a letter to the Speaker, urged for Ms Moitra’s "immediate suspension" from the House, alleging that "bribes were exchanged between her and businessman Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions in Parliament". Mr Dubey alleged "serious Breach of Privilege', 'Contempt of the House' and a 'Criminal Offence' under Section 120A of IPC" by the Trinamul MP.
