The BJP is a party that spouts lies, chief minister says in state Assembly
Coming down heavily on the BJP, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee challenged the saffron party to prove that she has connections with terrorists and is indifferent to the Hindu religion, while going for Muslim appeasement.
She was taking part in the debate on the budget proposal of the state government in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly this afternoon. She made the statement after the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Suvendu Adhikari, said the Chief Minister has connections with terrorists in Bangladesh, Jammu, and Kashmir.
"It is better to die than listen to the BJP's allegations that I have connections with terrorists in Bangladesh, Jammu, and Kashmir. I challenge the BJP to prove this allegation. It is a party that speaks garbage and lies," she said.
