Justice Harish Tandon of Calcutta High Court today said that in order to eradicate labour trafficking and bonded labour, a concerted effort by various departments of the government would have to be undertaken to thrash out a way forward to curb the menace.
Addressing a conference on State level consultation on Labour Trafficking and Bonded Labour, organised by State Legal Services Authority at Sesqui Centenary Building Auditorium of Calcutta High Court today Justice Tandon said: "Efforts notwithstanding the menace like bonded labour and labour trafficking continued to be raising its ugly hoods in exploiting childhood by drawing them into slavery with wages taking a back seat either in the name of trafficking of labour or bonded l
