India's Champions Trophy squad rewarded with hefty cash award

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced a hefty cash reward of Rs 58 crore for the Indian contingent following their triumph at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Besides the players, the financial recognition also honours the coaching and support staff and members of the men's selection committee.
On 9 March, India became the only side in Champions Trophy history to secure a third title as they beat New Zealand by four wickets.
India enjoyed an unbeaten run during the tournament.
The Rohit Sharma-led outfit began with six-wicket wins over Bangladesh and arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening two games at the tournament.
This was followed by a clinical defence of a modest score against New Zealand in their final group game, which the Men-in-Blue took by 44 runs.
