Entry fee to Ballavpur wildlife sanctuary in Birbhum withdrawn

The tourists visiting Ballavpur Sanctuary will no longer have to buy a Rs 100 ticket for entering the sanctuary at Santiniketan in Birbhum.
The forest department has issued a notification and has withdrawn the entry fee for the visitors.
The tourists had to cough up Rs 100 to enter the sanctuary. The state government has plans to further develop the wildlife sanctuary to boost tourism in the district.
