'Our government's policy is that there will be no talks with those with arms in their hands'
Ruling out a softer approach against the Maoists, Union home minister Amit Shah today warned chief minister A Revanth Reddy that Telangana should not be turned into a safe hideout for Maoists who are fleeing from the rest of the country due to Operation Kagar. Shah was in Nizamabad to inaugurate the headquarters of the newly set-up turmeric board and later addressed a rally. He used the platform to deliver a firm message to Maoists who are unwilling to give up arms. He iterated that Maoism would be finished in the country before 31 March 2026.
