Super Giants thrash Titans to end IPL 2025 campaign on a winning note

With their chances of advancing to the playoffs already extinguished, the team from the 'city of nawabs' played with a freedom and gay abandon missing for most of the season as they ended their IPL 2025 campaign with a bang, defeating league leaders Gujarat Titans by 33 runs in a high-scoring clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium here on Thursday. A power-packed batting performance spearheaded by Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran laid the foundation for the sixth victory of IPL 2025 for LSG, who broke a four-match losing streak.

Marsh slammed the fastest century hit by a Lucknow in IPL history with a 64-ball 117 while Pooran slammed a quickfire unbeaten 56 off 27 deliveries to help the visitors post their third-highest IPL total with a mammoth 235/2. It was the maiden IPL century by Marsh.
