IPL 2025: Narine leads the way as Knights dethrone Super Kings at home

Narine didn't concede a single boundary in his miserly spell of 3-13 as a clinical performance by the KKR bowlers helped them restrict CSK to a below-par 103/9, their lowest total at their home ground.

In reply, the defending champions broke little sweat, romping home with almost 10 overs to spare, losing the wickets of openers Quinton de Kock and Narine along the way.

The duo had handed a superb start to the KKR innings, with Narine taking the CSK bowling to the cleaners with an 18-ball 44 which featured a couple of boundaries and five hits into the capacity home crowd.

Earlier, on a black-soil pitch, spin dictated terms from the word go, Narine, Varun Chakaravarthy and Moeen Ali, brought to counter left-handed batters, picked six wickets collectively as CSK's batting never got going.
