As multiple media outlets poured the sad news that steered an instant outrage among the young generation with a sole question, why Zubeen was brought to Singapore as the sensational music composer was not fully well for many months. They got annoyed encountering visual clippings floated on social media, where Zubeen was seen swimming in seawater and finally exhausted with no life jacket with him. More shockingly, the tragic incident was not reported authentically, even though a group of Assamese professionals accompanied Zubeen to participate in the 4th North East India Festival scheduled for 19, 20 and 21 September 2025.
