Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lauded the success of the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme as it completed six years, describing it as a transformative initiative that has empowered millions of street vendors through collateral-free credit, financial inclusion and enhanced livelihood opportunities.
Marking the occasion, the Prime Minister extended his greetings to beneficiaries of the scheme and commended their contribution to India's economic growth. In a post on social media platform X, he said the programme had brought meaningful change to the lives of countless vendors across the country.
