Congress to launch 'Samvidhan Samvaad' campaign across Uttar Pradesh

The Indian National Congress has announced the launch of a statewide public outreach initiative titled ‘“Samvidhan Samvaad,’; under which the party will organise 30 rallies across Uttar Pradesh over the next 100 days to raise public awareness about constitutional values and democratic rights.
Addressing apress conference atthe Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters on Sunday, AICC General Secretary and UP in-charge Avinash Pandey said the programme is being launched at a time when the country is facing serious challenges such as inflation, unemployment, agrarian distress, and what he described as continuous attemptstoweaken democracy and the Constitution.
