The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested a 33-year-old man for his alleged involvement in duping a senior cardiologist at a hospital in South Delhi, officials said.

The accused, Jalaluddin, hailing from Rajasthan's Alwar, impersonating an army cantonment officer seeking medical consultation for defence personnel defrauded the victim of more than Rs 6.69 lakh, they said, adding that he has at least seven cases of cheating and forgery registered against him across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh
