The Utkarsh Odisha- Make in Odisha Conclave has been hailed as a monumental success, securing investments worth over Rs 16.73 lakh crore through 145 MoUs and investment proposals.
This influx of capital is poised to generate nearly 13 lakh jobs, reinforcing Odisha's position as a premier investment destination, said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, addressing the media at the conclusion of the two-day conclave, termed the event a game-changer. As the first major investment initiative under the seven-month-old BJP government, the conclave showcased a fresh approach, distinct from previous editions under the former administration. The Chief Minister emphasised the government's commitment to grounding projects efficiently while ensuring inclusivity and geographical diversification (spread across several districts of the state).
