NIT R wins prestigious TGC award

A team from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela won in the 'Tomato Grand Challenge' (TGC) during the 'National Consumer Day 2024' event, held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi recently.
The event was organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell. The NIT Rourkela team won it for the innovative solutions addressing challenges in tomato storage and transportation, a 'Low-Cost, Mobile Zero Energy Cooling Chamber'.
