IREDA records 145 pc spike in loan sanctions, disbursement up 81 pc

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has posted impressive Q2 FY26 performance, with Minister Pralhad Joshi highlighting that IREDA is fostering sustainable growth and self-reliance in the renewable energy sector, lighting up India’s future and inspiring collective efforts toward a greener and brighter tomorrow, with passion and purpose.
IREDA recorded a 145 per cent spike in loan sanctions, reaching Rs 21,408 crore against Rs 8,724 crore in Q2 of FY25.
Loan disbursements increased to Rs 8,062 crore from Rs 4,A62 crore, representing an 81 per cent growth, while the loan book expanded by 31 per cent to Rs 84,477 crore from Rs 64,564 crore.
