Increase efficiency to face global challenges: DIC RSP

The director in charge of Rourkela Steel Plant, Alok Verma acknowledged the challenges posed by declining net sales realization which has impacted the steel business across the country.

Addressing a ceremony held here on Tuesday to mark the annual performance review and award function of RSP, he said we cannot change the global market trends, but we can certainly refine our internal efficiencies. The focus should be on improving operational efficiency, cutting down costs and minimizing wasteful expenditures to remain competitive in the industry.
