The two-day Utkarsh Odisha - Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 emerged as a landmark event, securing investment proposals worth over 16.73 lakh crore and reinforcing Odisha's growing prominence as a global investment destination.
The success of the conclave was a direct outcome of the double-engine government, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi playing a pivotal role in boosting investor confidence and ensuring a thriving business environment.
In his inaugural address on Tuesday, PM Modi had assured investors of the unwavering support of both the central and state governments, making it clear that Odisha was the perfect destination for industrial investment.
He highlighted that this edition of the conclave was the biggest business summit ever held in the state, surpassing previous editions under the earlier regime.
"Eastern India is set to drive the nation's growth, and Odisha will be at the heart of this transformation. This is the right time to invest in Odisha," the Prime Minister emphasized, setting the stage for a surge in investment proposals with his trademark "Yeh Modi ki Guarantee hai" remark.
