Amazon invests in Odisha to improve on its impressive growth

Ahead of the Amazon Great Indian Festival, which starts from 23 September, Amazon India is gearing up to meet rising customer demand in Odisha, bringing customers unmatched value, speed, and selection.
It has established a new Fulfilment Centre in Bhubaneswar, empowering more than 17,000 sellers from the State to serve customers faster, while also creating hundreds of new job opportunities in the region.
With this, Amazon's operations network in the State now includes one new Fulfilment Centre, one Sortation Centre, over 250 I Have Space (IHS) stores, and more than 60 Delivery Stations. These investments have enabled Amazon to deliver 2X more products same and next day to customers in Bhubaneswar, with same-day deliveries increasing by more than 190%, and next-day delivery increasing by more than 120% year-over-year (YoY).
