Tyla confirms 'A-Pop' as title of her new album following Grammy win

FRESH off another Grammy win, Tyla has officially confirmed the title of her second studio album, and fans finally have a name to hold on to.

The 24-year-old singer shared the news backstage at the Grammy Awards, moments after being called up the stage for her second trophy for Best African Music Performance for Push 2 Start.
During her media interview, Tyla expressed her regret that she was unable to reach the Grammy stage in time to accept her award and deliver her speech.
When allowed to make up for that, she also dropped the announcement many had been waiting for. “I just want to announce something,” she said. “My sophomore album drops this summer, and it's called A-pop.”
She didn’t say much beyond that, but she vaguely revealed that the album is set for release in the summer in the northern hemisphere.
