'Pink Roses' EP: A Fusion of afro-trap and soulful storytelling

Hailing from Mdantsane Township in the Eastern Cape, multi-talented director, composer, author, and vocalist Sonwabile Madonela, better known as Sosoboy Fosho, is steadily cementing his place in the South African music industry.

Reflecting on Pink Roses, he describes the EP as a celebration of love in all its forms, the beautiful, the messy, and the hopeful.

“Roses are universal, but pink roses represent admiration and gratitude,” he says. “I wanted to give people music that feels like flowers for the soul, a gift that carries both softness and power.”
