Chiefs plot Cup redemption but first Gallants lie in wait

AS Kaizer Chiefs navigate a period of unexpected turbulence following a managerial shakeup, they are keen to get back on track tomorrow when they take on Marumo Gallants at FNB Stadium (kickoff 7.30pm).
Recent. performances have seen Chiefs suffer consecutive defeats, with a narrow 1-0 loss to Angolan side Kabuscorp in their continental opener on Saturday, following a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Sekhukhune United in the league last Wednesday.
The weekend setback poses a significant challenge to Chiefs’ ambitions in the CAF Confederation Cup, marking a historic low for the club as it was their first loss to an Angolan team in any continental tournament.
Before heading to Angola, the Glamour Boys enjoyed a five-match unbeaten streak in the Betway Premiership, but they now find themselves under pressure.
